Located in the heart of Vancouver mainland. Queen Elizabeth Park is a hidden gem that is under utilized and forgotten Most of the parks glory is stolen by Stanley Park which was named the most beautiful park in the world for the 3rd year in a row. Residences at Park Lane is here to put Q.E Park back on the map as landmark.
Park Lane will be repurposing the ugly oversized parking lot. We however will not be getting rid of it, we will be putting the parking lot underground so that we can create our clubhouse and living facilites up at the highest point of the park giving the guests beautiful views of the park and city.
Drawing inspiration from nature while having an extremely modern and contemporary design. Vancouver’s Vernacular also utilizes locally sourced materials such as Hemlock Wood. Vernacular Architecture in Vancouver also allows space for greenery, whether its vines, moss, trees or grass. Much of Vancouvers “Modern” Vernacular architecture has a cold metal and concrete exterior that juxtaposes its warm Hemlock wood filled interior.
The Skywalk is an elevated platform that is created for enjoying the outdoors, it seamlessly links the townhomes to the main hotel core while creating useable outdoor spaces to sit, eat and jog. It also gives the residences and guests easy access to the facilities and restaurants.
